History of Bank:
In April of 1996 a group of local investors saw the need for a strong community bank in Nevada that could offer personalized service and a common sense approach to doing business. On September 3, 1996 Community Bank opened its doors for business and immediately set down strong roots by assisting consumers, farmers, and businesses succeed in reaching their financial goals.
We have an experienced team of officers and staff that are dedicated to helping you. If you have a question, need or just want a banker to listen to your idea, now is the time and Community Bank is the place. We are locally owned and locally operated with all decisions made right here.

Officers and Staff
Daniel B. Engler, President:
Dan is the reason we are Community Bank. He had the vision to establish Community Bank in 1996. Dan has over thirty years of banking experience. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University and brings a strong background in agriculture and economic development.
Jeff Hauenstein, Vice President:
Jeff has been with Community Bank since its inception in 1996. He brings experience with other banks prior to the start of Community Bank. He is our resident real estate lending expert and has a BS in Economics from Iowa State University. He brings you an Ag background being raised in SouthEast Iowa. Stop in and Jeff will assist you with your real estate and consumer lending needs.
David Loupee, Vice President:
Dave has been with Community Bank for two years but brings thirty one years of banking experience with him. He has a BS in Farm Operations from Iowa State University and is our expert in Agricultural Lending. Dave can assist you with all of your agricultural lending needs.
Ben Engler, Assistant Vice President:
Ben has been with Community Bank for three years. He earned a BS degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. Ben brings you a strong Ag background and can assist you with all of your Ag Lending requests.
Sharon Johnson, Cashier:
Sharon has been with Community Bank for one year. She brings twenty nine years of previous banking experience with her. She is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a BA in Banking and Finance. She has an Ag Background and can assist you with your IRA, deposit, and compliance questions.
Sandy Johnson, Teller Supervisor:
Sandy has been with Community Bank since its inception in 1996. She has nineteen years of banking experience. Sandy can assist you with any of your deposit needs and resides in Nevada with her husband.
Mary Wycoff, Receptionist:
Mary has been with Community Bank since 1996. She brings a total of twenty-nine years banking experience. She is the friendly face you see when you enter our doors. Stop in and get come first rate hospitality from Mary and her cookie tray today.
Allison Cairns, Customer Service Representative:
Allison is our part time employee while she purses a degree in Ag Studies from Iowa State University. Allison has been with Community Bank for two years and has previous banking experience. Allison can assist you with your banking needs through our drive up facility.
Carmi has many years of customer service experience, some through previous experience with Community Bank. Come in our lobby to have Carmi assist you with your banking and new account needs.
